For people we hold data about

Were you contacted through Quicklead?

This page is for you, not for our customers. It explains what we hold, where it came from, why we are allowed to hold it, and how to make us delete it for good.

Article 14 notice Permanent suppression on request Response within one month

Last reviewed September 2026

The short version Email [email protected] with the subject “Removal request” and the email address or LinkedIn URL you want removed. We delete it, suppress it permanently so it cannot come back, and write to confirm. You do not need an account, you do not need to explain yourself, and it costs nothing.
Article 14

Where your data came from

The law requires us to tell you this when we did not collect your data from you directly. We would rather set it out properly than bury it.

If a company messaged you on LinkedIn

A Quicklead customer targeted your public LinkedIn profile using their own LinkedIn account. They are the controller of that outreach and of the data behind it. Quicklead is their processor.

The data involved is what your profile shows publicly: name, headline, company, role, location, industry and summary, plus whatever messages were exchanged.

Contact them directly, or use the form below and we will pass it on and chase it for you.

If your details are in our Email Finder

Quicklead maintains a business contact database that maps a LinkedIn profile URL to a work email, and in some records a business phone number. Quicklead is the controller of this database.

Source: business contact data compiled from publicly accessible professional sources and licensed business contact providers.

Recipients: Quicklead customers who look up that specific contact, and the sub-processors listed on our sub-processor page.

Retention: reviewed every 12 months, deleted on request, and suppressed permanently thereafter.

Controller: Quicklead Technology Private Limited. An EU and UK Article 27 representative is being appointed and will be named here on completion.

FAQ

Questions people ask us

One of two ways. Either a Quicklead customer targeted your public LinkedIn profile in their own campaign, in which case they hold your data and we process it for them, or your business contact details are in Quicklead’s own Email Finder database, which we compile from business contact sources and which we control. The form on this page covers both.
For the Email Finder database: your LinkedIn profile URL, work email, and in some records a business phone number and your employer’s domain. For campaign data held by a customer: your public profile fields and the messages exchanged with that customer.
Legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f), for business-to-business contact with people in their professional capacity. You have an absolute right to object to direct marketing, and we honour it immediately.
We delete the record and add a cryptographic hash of your identifiers to a permanent suppression list, so the same details cannot be reintroduced by a later data refresh. We confirm in writing, usually within a few business days and always within one month.
That company is the controller of its own outreach, so the decision is theirs, but we forward your objection to them, require them to action it, and confirm the outcome back to you.
Yes, to your national supervisory authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner’s Office. We would rather you gave us a chance to fix it first, but the right is yours.
